A given <color #ffc90e>surface</color> has a separate vertex array and material used for drawing. A <color #ff7f27>Mesh</color> can be defined using a singular <color #ffc90e>surface</color>, however, multiple <color #ffc90e>surfaces</color> allow for multiple materials to be used on the same <color #ff7f27>Mesh</color>. ==== Primitives ==== The vertex data of a <color #ff7f27>Mesh</color> can be arranged in many different ways, so it is necessary to select an appropriate primitive for rendering vertices. The five available primitives are described by the PrimitiveType enumerator: <code cpp> enum PrimitiveType {PRIMITIVE_POINTS, PRIMITIVE_LINES, PRIMITIVE_LINE_STRIP, PRIMITIVE_TRIANGLE, PRIMITIVE_TRIANGLE_STRIP} </code> ==== See also ==== * [[article:computer_graphics|Computer graphics]] * [[article:godot|Godot]]
